Can I use custom 'view' for my WelcomeAction?

Can I use my custom design (jpanel) for the welcome action? I do not
want to have default icon + link + text style, I wanna my own.

Can i do that and how?

No, at the moment only the default style actions are supported. You can file
a JIRA request to make this more extensible.
