After refactoring eg. to remove a method argument, the camo'd signature does not udpate.

It's a known and documented - see release notes, in the config ui 3rd pane-, of the current version. It's on my todo list, but not very high, as the 2 workarounds below are good enough for me, and I'm waiting for some openAPI enhancements.
Workaround 1 : automatic - close and reopen the editor. (first enable the camouflage in the "auto on open" column.)
Workaround 2 : manual - manually remove the camouflage (with the "kill camouflage" intention) and then - manually recamouflage the element. ( with the appropriate intention)
