DiffFilePlugin request

Some days past, I have filed two feature requests against DiffFilePlugin
in the wiki,

http://www.intellij.org/twiki/bin/view/Main/DiffFilePlugin

• Add the diff option to the project view context menus as well.

• Allow the diff option in the project view to operate on a two file

multiselection.

As I have not read into the plugins api yet, (and Mike Abney did not
answer as well): does anyone know whether this can be done, and with
reasonable effort?
