complete shows more varients than i provide

i provide completion for xml attribute value an a PsiReference.getVarients but i get in the editor much more entries than i provide, it may come from another place in the ide ,can i suppress that from completion manager or something like that

oh..no,the problem is that,if i return an empty array,no suggestion on completion message got from the editor,but when i provide some entries,the ide add much more to them
