Clarification required

Hello,

I am doing plugin development for Idea and one of the requirement says
a.. Permit installation of the plugin via the IntelliJ Plugin Manager.
b.. Permit un-installation of the plugin via the IntelliJ Plugin
Manager.
I have tried my sample plugin which is already in the installed mode to
uninstall it. And it got successfully deleted. I guess for installation it
should be available on http://plugins.intellij.net
Hence I cannot test it but it will work by default.

Is my understanding correct?

Thanks
S. D.

Yes, your understanding is correct. You just have to make sure that your
plugin.xml contains the correct information, especially the since-build
and until-build attributes.

In order to support installation through the plugin manager, your plugin
needs to be packaged correctly (as described in the "Plugin Structure" document
included in the Plugin Development Package) and have correct plugin.xml file.
