Opening UnitTest runners?

I was just reading another weblog post on Cedric's TestNG testing
framework which takes advantage of JDK5's annotations:

Is there anyway to run a testsuite the uses this and have the TestRunner
display as the current JUnit runner in IDEA or is that runner tightly
coupled with JUnit currently?
