Oracle - PL/SQL Dialect and Database Support window

The following Oracle PL/SQL shows the red squiggly in many files that I know are valid PL/SQL.

When viewing an Oracle 11g database, the Database Support window shows no triggers and a small subset of packages (e.g. in one schema, it shows a single package, where there should be dozens).

I'm wondering if the "Database Support" is supposed to be more robust, or is this the best it's gonna get for me with IntelliJ?

Please always file youtrack tickets for incorrect red highlighting. These problems are easy to fix but due to SQL dialects complexity, lack of or simply incorrect documentation this is still an ongoing process.

Missing packages and triggers is another story. We plan to support full schema loading in future. Currently we are limited to what Java JDBC API provides and the quality of a specific JDBC driver.

And regarding the "quality" of the JDBC driver - I'm using the same exact jar and connection information to grab more information using Oracle's SQL Developer, or the Oracle Enterprise Pack for Eclipse, or DBeaver.

Hi Gregory,

This sounds interesting.

I have no idea what a "full schema loading" without JDBC driver could be, but would that also fix the problems with the column recognition as described here:
