RC2 Mac with bundled Java 7 crashing

I tried out the new IDEA 13 RC2 with bundled Java 7 for Mac but after a short period of time (<1min) it stops responding and I get the spinning beachball and have to force quit. In fact the last time the whole machine froze and I had to pull the plug.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Please try RC3 and create YouTrack ticket with attached thread dumps (http://devnet.jetbrains.com/docs/DOC-192) if the
problem persists
