Opening Files slow - sometimes hangs

Opening files in Leda IU 122.746 is really slow. Greater than 5 seconds to open any file in a project. Sometimes the ide hangs for much longer as well.

Are there any settings I can tweak, like disabling the new compiler mode, to see if there is a difference?
