Artifact Deployment Error

I have a web app using Spring 3.1, tomcat 7.0.26 and java 1.7

Everything was just fine until EAP release 120.305

After that every other build is causing errors indicating error while deploying artifact.

There is no change in the app and works great with version 120.305

Now that this version is going to expire on 8/31, need some help getting thru this bug fixed.

Any idea what could be causing this?

Notes: It says look at server logs for more details. But, I could not figure out which server logs

Could you please try if the problem reproduces in the latest EAP build 122.202 (it is available at http://eap.jetbrains.com/idea12)?

Any idea on this ?

At least.. could you please point us to where to look for the server logs that the system is referring to? I checked under tomcat and checked under User Idea directory and did not find any.

August 31st is nearing fast and need a solution before that. Otherwise, our development is in trouble.

The exact error I get is:

Artifact XXX:web exploded: Error during artifact deployment. See server log for details.

What server logs is it referring to?

Hello,

The problem looks similar to http://youtrack.jetbrains.com/issue/IDEA-90417
You may try the 122.221 build with the fix included or use the manually rebuilt tomcat integration in the youtrack.
If the issue will be still reproducable, follow the instructions in the last comment of the YouTrack.

Michael

Thank you. It fixed the issue.

By the way - where do we get 122.221? The latest I see is 122.202 on EAP page.

This is internal build, the official fix will be available next EAP, but I guess you may use locally patched one until then.
