Difficulty Scrolling Large Lists

Since the new scroll bars came in I find it hard to scroll a small distance as there are no up/down arrows at the top/bottom of them.
A good example is when I am searching through the version control history (git in my case) for a commit as this might have 1000s of entries.
I drag the scroll bar down and notice that I am close to where I want to be but might have skipped just past it.
Normally, I would then click the arrows to fine tune where I want to be, however, this is not possible with the new design of scroll bars as they don't exist.
Since my list is very large, try to do this fine tuning by dragging the scroll bar is difficult.

Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me? :)

I have noticed it, but I prefer to use the mouse wheel anyway, so this is not a problem for me.
