Problems connecting debugger to device

I have sporadic problems launching the debugger to my device.  Basically I hit the debug button, the app is installed, the intent is started, and the debug window in the IDE ends with, "Waiting for process: com.adobe.revel.capture", my device is stuck on the, "Waiting for Debugger" dialog.  I have attached the logcat log that starts with the install of the app.
As an attempted workaround I would just launch the app and then try to connect to the debugger but when I click the button and get the, "choose process" dialog all I get is a dialog with my device id in it.  If I choose that, the OK button remains grayed out and I cannot do anything.

Please try to restart IDEA. If problem remains, attach idea.log file

Can you tell me how to increase the log level?  I emptied the file, then did a Rebuild Project, followed by a Debug, and the only text in the log stems from the project build.

The problem is that we copy AndroidManifest.xml file to a temp directory and set 'debuggable' attribute to true. By some reason this temp file (ex. /private/var/folders/_j/f3yl4f617f91pct4xqlcbshw0000gn/T/android_manifest_copy1564085291650944977tmp/AndroidManifest.xml) becomes read-only and IDE cannot modify it. Please, check that your own AndroidManifest.xml is not read-only (but I've experimented with this case on mac and I still didn't manage to reproduce the error). BTW, we will fix this in IDEA 11.0.1, because Google's packaging tool now sets 'debuggable' attribute for debug builds automatically and IDE don't need to do this work anymore.

BTW, In the worst case you can set 'android:debuggable' attribute (in the 'application' tag) to 'true' manually as workaround .

Thanks, as an FYI, this is on Mac Lion (POS) and the manifest file is under Perforce source control so it is locked.  I have checked the file out and everything is working now.
