customize tip of the day messages - would you be interested in such a contribution to the community eddition
I wanted to customize the tip of the days i get (I wanted for example messages about the current project which is opened) some tips to developers. I saw its impossible as the messages are bundled in an internal resources jar in intellij.
I wanted to ask intellij community (opensource) if you would be interested in a contribution that would allow users to customize the tip of the day (lets say adding tips) or at least enable plugin developers to customize it (and hence come up with a plugin for that).

I saw an issue on youtrack about that a few days ago - basically Jetbrains wanted to make "Whats New window" to which plugins could contribute, but the issue seems hidden to public now...
hmm thanks, but this is "Whats New window" which I suspect appears only once after a new intellij is released. I'm interested in being able to customize the "tip of the day" which appears every time I start intellij up, would it be nice if you could get a daily tip about the project you are working on once you open the project up in intellij?
A custom tips plugin is welcome. It can read tips from some file/folder in the project root and display them on project load.
