New License Checking in 9.0.2

I'm just lobbing this question as upgrading to 9.0.2 is really starting to frustrate me, why was the tolerance for a lack of license server communication changed from 48 hours to 30min?  It is a VERY common scenario to go home w/ your laptop and work @ night or over the weekend w/o VPN'ing.  Now in 9.0.2  that IDEA only lasts 30min it is really frustrating that I have to stay on VPN all the time when working @ home.  Is there any way to change this back to 48 hours, please?

Thanks.

I did not know that was what that was for.  I tried it, but it was refused.  I guess our license server is not setup to give out permanent licenses.  I just wanted to say that I miss the old way it worked, where after it had connected to a license server but had lost the connection, longer than 30 minutes was afforded the user.

thank you though.

Hello Brandon,

I can tell you that it wasn't an intentional change; it might be a bug or
a misunderstanding of how the license server works. Could you please file
a YouTrack issue and describe the exact scenario that happens for you?
