JVM Params Not Passed To Glassfish

This is really bugging me as it makes sharing run configs a pain in the rear.

Basically, although I am putting parameters in the "VM parameters" box and they  appear on the run tab as JAVA_OPTS, when I look at the log, Glassfish  isn't starting up with these parameters.
I then have to manually add them to my server xml file.
