Run | Stop is often disabled even when the server is running.

I'm using version 93.67 and grails 1.2.

Very often I start the server and it starts just fine with Run | Debug.  Then when I go to stop the server the "Stop" menu command is not selectable.

The IDE still knows about the server because when I close the IDE it asks if I want to kill the server process.

An ideas what is going on?  This seems like a bug to me.  It forces me to close the IDE a lot.
