Cannot Copy or Paste text from or to IntelliJ from other applications in Windows 8

I cannot copy text in IntelliJ and insert it in an another Windows-Application. Inserting in IntelliJ is possible. Copy texts in Windows applications and pasting is possible, but not pasting it in IntelliJ.

I use Windows 8 and IDEA 14.0.3. Ultimate.

ok, seems no to work:
     * disabled Hungry Backspaces
     * invalidated caches and restarted

I successfully cut and paste both directions between IntelliJ 14.0.3 and Notepad++.  Could you give an example of what applications you are trying to paste to/from?
