Permanent License Collision detected

Answered

I'm using my IDEA license normally on Windows, but sometimes on OS X, too.
When I launch IDEA (#9902) on OS X, a "License Collision Detected" dialog
pops up on the Windows machine (#9902, too). Even after I have switched off
the Mac, pressing Yes to re-activate IDEA on Windows, the dialog pops up
again and again. I need to click No and restart IDEA. Very annoying.

I am having the same exact issue and it is extremely frustrating. Is there any solution? I am contemplating switching back over to VSCode.

Please see https://intellij-support.jetbrains.com/hc/en-us/articles/207241005 .

You can run multiple personal licensed copies simultaneously (like on laptop and desktop for remote debugging client/server apps) as long as the system username (login) is the same on all the systems where you use the IDE.
