Menubar dropdown keyboard shortcut

Hi All,

Am wondering if there is a keyboard shortcut to select a menubar item (file, edit, search, view, goto, code, analyze etc) such that a dropdown/popup for available options appears?

Just like on Windows, we use Atl-F to bring down the File menu.

I am using a MAC.
