Strange files modulexyz123.xml in config directory

My config directory is polluted with lots of files named
modulexyz123.xml and the like, containing entries like this:



IMHO those files are extremely wrong placed here. As they are created
automatically and don't contain configuration information they should be
placed in the system directory.
