Maven Dependency Graph

Hi, are there plans to add a Maven dependency graph feature in order to visual dependencies?. Perhaps in an 8.0.x release? The eclipse maven plugin seems to be eclipsing IDEA maven plugin in this area and others.

it would be cool to be able to navigate to the dependency or module from the diagram. Like the spring diagrams.

There are already a couple maven plugins that do this already, bit its not integrated into the IDE like the eclipse plugin. if i had the time (and the knowledge) to write an IDEA plugin, i'd give it a try myself...but i feel it shoudl be part of the maven integration itself.

Thanks,
Trevor

That graph does not appear very well visualized for example for a typical use case of finding out where some unwanted dependency or version comes from. A better organized dependency graph would be welcome. It does not need any "cool" bubbles and arrows - often a boring but well organized text output provides better usability. (For example IDEA8's settings dialog is faster to navigate than IDEA7's, because in IDEA8 it's faster to read the alphabetically sorted list of settings top-to-bottom. In IDEA7 you need to read the setting titles left-to-right-to-newline-left-to-right-to-newline-left-to-right-to-newline-left-to-right.)
