Syntax/pattern for Ignore Files ?

Can someone tell me the 'Ignore Files' pattern or syntax that will ignore all files or directories with a certain name, at any level in the project ?

I've tried a number of variations, and I can't find it in the help files. A search of the forums reveals a couple of similar unanswered questions...

There is no syntax to ignore the contents of all directories with a certan
name. To ignore all files with a certain name, just enter the name of the
file in "Ignore files matching".

OK, thanks Dmitry.

I can see there is a long-winded work-around, but I worry that if I specify all files with a certain name pattern, it may ignore some outside the relevant directories that I don't want ignored - and I won't know about it. It would make life much simpler to be able to specify directories - something like an XPath expression...
