too all who suffer from pauses or low performance in general
i switched off every plugin i didn't really need, and it helped a LOT. i didn't bother to find out which plugin caused it.

To answer that question, how about someone write a plugin that tracks how much of IDEA's cpu/memory usage each plugin is consuming? :)
