GWT DevMode creates .class file in my source root

Hi Forum

When I run GWT (DevMode run configurartion) a lot of class files are generated next to my .java files.
Does anyone know if there is a way to tell DevMode to put the compile output in /build instead ?

Regards,
Klaus

Please check that 'Compiler Output' path is specified properly in File | 'Project Structure' | Modules |  | 'Paths' tab.

Nikolay,
I don't think the output comes from the Java compiler, as we have already set the compiler output to "build/classes"

The problem is that when I'm developing my GWT app, .class files ends up in my source directory, I think it is the works of a compiler that runs inside the DevMode, possibly the JDTCompiler compiling my JSPs.???

Any ideas how to make it stop doing that?

Klaus,

you can check the command line of GWT Dev Mode process (shown on the first line in 'Run' tool window) for suspicious options. However if the generated
classes are really correspond to JSP files (they should have matched names in that case) you should probably check an application server settings and
web.xml file instead.
