Problems with The Import Database Schema dialog
--Tables list includes SEQUENCES and VIEWS for oracle.
--The Tables Filter is too primitive. Need a set of exclusion /inclusion filters. A simple wildcard filter is not doing the trick.
-- The schema name should be made case insensitive because it's confusing for oracle to type in myuser and not find anything (needs MYUSER I guess)
--No way to "select all" / "unselect all" tables
--No way to "expand all" / "collapse all" on the checkboxes
-- If there are no tables in the filter, then the whole dialog gives up. Why not open the Filter to allow the user to modify it?
-- I don't know what the Generate Mapping XML is looking for. I can't make it happy with any directory or file.
-- When I ask for "help" by clicking on help, I get this message: "help topic "newEJBmap_to_datasource" not found
-- So I can't get any help from Help to understand what is needed ..
-- I google'd about this and found a post by Dmitry on JavaRanch saying "You need to add a Hibernate facet to your project, select it in the Java EE view".
Well, I'm in this dialog and have already invested 10 or 15 minutes with the cumbersome tables list above, now I have to get out and do that again?
At this point I still do not know what is needed to make the "Generate Mapping XML" satisfied.
