# 8280 Bad file on 'Open Repository Version'

I notice that when I highlight a file in the 'Changed Files' window of the 'Repository' tab in the 'Changes' panel, and select 'Open Repositiory Version' from the file's context menu, I get a read-only version of the file displayed in an editor window, as expected - but it has junk characters appended, shown in this link: Junk appended to file

This happens on all files opened to view this way. Opening files for editing works fine. The VCS in use is CVS.
