Disable inspections in diff view

Is there a way to disable inspections in the diff view? I searched the forums and found that this question has been asked before: http://devnet.jetbrains.com/click.jspa?searchID=667215&objectType=2&objectID=5176192. The reply indicated that the ability to do this would be added in a later version. That was in 2006, so I'm sure a lot has changed since then...is there a way to do this now? I'm using 12.1...
