Can no longer start JBoss

I'm currently working on a EJB3 app that we're deploying to JBoss. We are using ant files to build our jar files and deploy them to JBoss, and then I start JBoss through IDEA. That worked fine in 6141. However, after upgrading to 6146 this morning, I can no longer start JBoss.

My guess is that it is because I don't have any modules being deployed through IDEA. In 6141, there was a warning on the run configuration screen because "There are no modules to deploy", but I was able to start JBoss anyway.

Now, it's not letting me start JBoss, and giving me an error (see attached screenshot). There is no RCOD.

Is there a workaround for this, or do I have to rollback to 6141?

Hello!

I have the same problem. I'm getting the following error message:

Run Error.

Error running Unnamed: Error running JBoss Server.
Exception occurred : java.lang.NullPointerException
Exception message: null

I have tested a few things.

1. It does not matter what the startup script is, the error happens even before IDEA reads this config string.

2. I have added modules that is deployed by IDEA.

3. I have looked in the idea.log file, which by the way says nothing related to this error.

It works fine in 6.0.2 but after upgrading to the newest version it stopped working.

Please replace the file ${idea.home}/plugins/JBoss/lib/jbossIntegration.jar with the one posted here: http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/JEEAS-123
