SourceSafe Integration all yellow in 7002

Since upgrading to 7002, I have a project that there is something wrong with. All of my modified files are yellow. I haven't figured out what yellow means (I know green, red, blue). The problem is that I can't undo check out (because it doesn't think the files are checked out). Also, I can't do add file for the files that don't exist. When I added the file I told it to "schedule it for addition" and it turned green, as it should. But when restarting IDEA it is yellow and I am constantly getting errors that the file does not exist in the repository (because it is trying to check its status it seems). I deleted my entire IDEA cache folder and restarted but this still happens. It's annoying enough that I have to disable SourceSafe integration because of the dialog constantly popping up.

7002 is indeed a step back, but I don't really care anymore. I have given up Idea for my main project.
I have been bugging JetBrains about VSS since last November, and indeed there have been many fixes, see
http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?component=10724&sorter/field=priority&mode=hide&reset=true&pid=10080&sorter/order=ASC

However I always experienced the behavior you describe, Idea just keeps loosing the correct file status - that's IDEA-11754
(BTW: I think "yellow" is meant to be a "hijacked" file, i.e. one that is modified locally, but not checked out.)

I thought that I was the only one having these problems, but probably there aren't so many VSS users anyway.
So now I am using mostly Eclipse - it is not giving me any "develop with pleasure", but at least it's working
without any surprises and gross bugs and there's a 3rd party VSS plugin that is working perfectly.

A hack that makes Idea recognize a file as blue (checked out/modified) again is to double click on the read-only
indicator in the status bar (which is just an empty grey areay if the file is currently writable) to make the file
read only, then double click again to make it writable again.

Yeah cycling the lock (read-only mode) on the file does hack around it. 7016 just came out and I'll try that one.
