You can also tree "feeding" the URL to download manager (like ReGet) directly

using FlashGet I have time outs, downloads from other sites work fine so I guess it must be JB server problem

It's just forum was adding a comma to it so clicking the link causes 404. It's not the first time when pasting a URL with following comma (like http://something/opa.html,) will append comma to the link's "href".
