EAP with SVN file:///

Is anyone using an SVN repo with any EAP build with the file:/// protocol?

If so, could you explain step by step how to make this work?
Ive got SVN and IDEA working with http://, but I cant make IDEA work with file:///
svn: Unable to open an ra_local session to URL

My SVN repo lives in D:\SVN

the URL Im using is: file:///D/SVN

I've never try file:// with IDEA and SVN, but the URL should be file:///D:/SVN

Note: It need a colon after "D"

Thanks for this, but Ive already tried with/without the colon, upper/lower case, with/without trailing '/'.
It doesnt work.

The question is:

Is it supposed to?

In fact, now that I try updating an http:// SVN repo with the latest EAP 5692, that doesnt work either. Back to 5661.

Doesn't work how exactly? We're using a http:// SVN repo all the time, and
it works for us.

Its not updating the existing working copy of the repo.
I just renamed the directory, and exported (not checkout - that didnt work either) a fresh copy.

Dmitry - is file:/// supposed to work, yes or no? If its not implemented, then that explains my problem and Ill move on with life. If it is, then either Ive not configured something or its broken.

Thanks for the clarification.

I cant get it to work. (error message listed previously).

Is this broken functionality, or have I not configured something, not installed something?

Did you try a SVN client? Try to use a SVN client, I'm afraid that it's your SVN server's problem

Does file:/// protocol need a server?

And yes, I can import into my SVN repo using standalone clients.
