Inspection Description Popup?

Every once and a while Idea's inspections highlight something that I don't completely understand. I find myself opening the inspection profile settings quite a bit to find out what the intentions of the inspections are (thank, by the way for adding the shortcut for that).

It seems like there should be a shortcut to show the description in a popup window rather than loading the entire inspections dialog. Is there such a thing already?

Great idea. I would use such a feature very often. If you file a JIRA
request I will vote for it.

I agree this would be nice!

There is already Jira(s) filed on this; I mentioned this when I gathered all the feedback in my original Inspection UI Feedback (http://www.intellij.net/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=193582). Jetbrains has fixed about 90% of that original list, so hopefully they can get to this.

User should not have to click "Show 'xx' options" to see description of the inspection (Keith Lea)
