TMate: Is it dead or just unsupported?

I'm posting this in the EAP forum because nobody replies to posts in the TMate forum. That's part of the problem. There seems to be a distinct lack of visible support for TMate. Reported bugs go unfixed, questions go unanswered for a long time (if ever) in the forum.

Currently there's a bug which kills the CVS server with too many requests per second, forcing us to shut down the TMate server: http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/TMATE-44

This is a show-stopper bug. But it has not received any response whatsoever since it was filed in JIRA in March. Why?

Thanks,
Gordon

I was wondering the same as well, but only because you can't download the TMate plug-in through the EAP plug-in window and also due to the exceptions it throws when using the EAP.

I hadn't given it that much thought though, so it's a bit worrying if you aren't getting any replies on the forum.

I actually haven't had that problem yet. I installed TMate for the latest EAP through the Plugin Manager this morning and it seems to run without throwing exceptions.

The problem of the update interval defaulting to 4 seconds still exists however.

All I'm looking for here is some assurance from JetBrains that TMate will be supported and bugs will be fixed. Right now, it looks like the product has been abandoned.

Ciao,
Gordon
