ETA for a new build?

Hi there,

Any idea when we should expect a new build? I'm trying to decide whether
to wait a bit more for a new build and continue putting up with the performance
problems in the current one (hoping that the new one fixes them to some degree),
or just to switch to Irida for the time being.

Knowing when to expect a new Demetra build would help with the decision.

Thx,
Andrei

The new build is likely to be released tomorrow, but I can't say whether
it will contain the fix to the performance problem you've reported.

Thanks. I think I found a decent workaround for that one (closing the EE
view), so I'll stick around.

Best,
Andrei

"Tomorrow" means: today, 22.06, yes? That'd be a nice birthday present
to me!

I hope so! Not being able to edit strings in my ejb3 entity beans is really depressing me, and is having a severe impact on my quality of life (or lack thereof).

Any chance to get a working Perforce integration? I haven't heard much on
that front and last I checked it was completely broken.

Thanks,

Vince.

Any details? The source code of IntelliJ IDEA is stored in Perforce, so if
the integration was completely broken, we would have noticed. :)

Hmm, interesting. I posted a few times about it and I've seen other people
having the same issues. Demetra keeps getting out of sync with the p4 world.
It's like it can't see any changelist other than default, half the time a
Ctrl-K shows only half the checkouts, etc. It doesn't take long either for
that to happen. On the other hand, Irida has works beautifuly on the same
clients.

If you guys are not aware of any p4 problem then I'll start jira'ing the
issues as I see them once the new build comes out.

Thanks,

Vince.

Yes, please put them into JIRA.

Here's one annoying performance regression....

hold down the up or down arrow in any java source file, there's a pause every 10 lines or so, rather than the source just scrolling smoothly all the way through.

Hello Hani,

Yep, that's known issue, we're already working on it.

I noticed it as well. I didn't notice this one in the previous build
