5281 Live Templates Edit broken

I am using 5281 build on windows XP using JDK.1.5.06.

When I try to edit the live template the text area where the live
template can be typed in is not supporting regular arrow keys
backspace and delete keys. I tried to edit the psvm template and itli
template in both the cases I experienced the same.
