5261: Evil green block of death

I've noticed 3-4 times today with build 5261 that if I close of editor windows I end up with a dead IDEA, and any movements of the mouse in the editing area causes an evil green block of repainting.

After this I need to close IDEA and reopen, anyone else seeing this?

Not exactly the same, but I got the EGBOD in the whole of the text area
on the idea.log tab when debugging a plug-in module. Deleting the Debug
toolwindow and re-running without showing idea.log worked around it for me.

Reporting the internal error via the automated submitter failed so I
guess at least one other person is also seeing this.

Incidentally, when it does update with the correct content, the idea.log
tab refreshes very slowly (and often minutes after the file content
actually changed).

Yep, I see this as well. However I'm running with latest Mustang build, and the stacktrace I get clearly states it is Swing to blame for array index out of bounds. Did not report the bug to them still.

Hello Mark,

Could you please send error report here if it appears again.

Thank you.

Will do - it seemed pretty repeatable.

This was also using the latest Mustang builds (b83). Didn't happen with b82 so maybe something changed in the latest release..

I submitted an exception via the bug tracker.... and mentioned Evil Green Block of Death.

Seemed to tripping inside the JTabbedPane with an IndexOutOfBounds (from memory)

Mark,
Anna was talking about other EGBOD, not the one caused by Mustang. This one should be definitely submitted to Sun.

I see it almost every time, when I close last editor. And then (it do not close) I click anywhere in it - green thing appears (just like a selection).
