what is the status of xml catalog support (IDEA-27620)?

I have recently re-entered the painful world of working with a ton of XML Schema validated xml files, some with xsi:schemaLocation and others not. The "Schemas and DTDs" in Settings is great, but now I have to maintain two mappings: one for IJ and one for the JRE (which speaks OASIS Catalog).

I was sniffing around in YouTrack and found IDEA-27620 but it is 7 years old.

I wanted to ask if there was something fundamentally at odds with the way IJ handles lookups, such that fixing 27620 is hard, or if rather it was just a very low priority item and thus has not had any keyboarding applied to it.

Thanks kindly!

p.s. I was delighted to learn that "Schemas and DTDs" will accept a jar url for those projects who ship their schemas in the runtime jars. The Location shows up as red and with the slashes the wrong way, but it works.
