Disappearing CVS marks on gutter
EAP 5131+ (5162, 5175)
Anyone else experiencing this?
Basically sometimes the gutter marks for file changes
simply disappear for files that are clearly modified
and in CVS. Note it's only the gutter marks that behave
like this - the file name has the right colour on tha
editor tab and in the project view.
Is there something I'm missing or some setting that needs
to be changed?

I get this all the time in both Demetra and in 5.1.
Seems sporadic though, never been able to tie it down, otherwise I'd have reported it as a bug. Definitely only seems to occur after a restart of IDEA.
If you're using a color scheme other than the default, this may be a problem with the color scheme.
I don't think this is a problem with the colour scheme, as they show up fine normally. It's just that sometimes they just disappear, as Bonny has noticed.
Are the gutter marks linked to the local history? If so, what happens if the edits that are made to files are older than the local history "active working days" setting?

Seems that it is related to an exception that I see being
thrown quite regularly which is to do with cyclic dispatch
of UI events. I've reported these exceptions so maybe this
will be dealt with together.
In any case, I find that sometimes, performing a complete
cvs command like a check in, etc, brings those marks back.

I've been noticing this for a long time too, and haven't noticed any particular
pattern. It does seem to only affect certain files though, other files will
show the changes in the gutter just fine.
