drag & drop broken in 3417

Has anyone else noticed that dragging text in this build is broken. Dragging just seems to extend the selection... Also has anyone noticed that column mode is a bit buggy? I cn't descibe it exactly but is seems that the selection doesn't always extend / cancel as expected.

I have tracked down the bug after many hours (e.g. about 5 minutes) experimentation.
If you

1. double click on a word to make a selection
2. then don't move the mouse outside the selection
3. then click on the selection to drag it

you extend the selection.

However, if you move the mouse pointer outside the selection and then back in again at point 2 it works properly....

I've noticed it too. I think that it is more of a time issue though. I have found that if
I wait a second or so, the drag works properly, otherwise it extends the selection even if I
move the mouse pointer outside the selection and back again.

Yep I tried it too, if you wait long enough it does work. Still it is very annoying if you are moving lots of bits an pieces around. Drag and drop is supposed be faster and more convenient (why else bother?).

I agree, it needs to be fixed. I was just trying to help JetBrains nail down the problem.

Is there a JIRA issue for this?
