Modified files on OSX problem

Lately IDEA has been making me feel frustrated here on OSX because it
will say things like "Cannot undo. Some files were changed." Or, I'll
run a refactoring, then browse through the changes, then click Do
Refactor, and IDEA says some files were changed and I need to re-run the
refactoring, after carefully hand-picking Excludes from the refactoring
changes.

I know for almost certain that these files are not being modified when
IDEA says they are. I'm not on a network share, I'm not using some
external script or version control which might change the files. This
only started happening to me since I moved to OSX.

I can't reproduce this behavior and I don't know what causes it. Maybe
if it happens to a lot of us we can track it down. OSX users, does this
happen to you? When does it happen? What kind of system are you on?

Keith,
we fixed the problem with refactorings you discuss recently. I'm not sure
however if it got into 3408.

Eugene.

Yup happens to me, dunno when or why, which is why I didn't file
anything because I didn't have anything remotely helpful to say. It IS
INCREDIBLY annoying though.

It didn't I hit this yesterday.

The cannot undo some files have changed is really annoying. Part of
that problem is that when you do a search in path or something which
pops up a pane or dialog, one of those keeps the focus. SO when you hit
undo, it says cannot undo... for no reason... you have to click in the
editor again and then click undo and it will undo.

I don't understand why the undo command even does anything when you're
in a console view, or version control view, message view.

Come to think of it the message view is the biggest one in this whole
mess. it pops up quite a bit for different things, and if you undo,
you'll get the cannot undo... then we have to click in the editor and
click again.

Focus issues are not all gone.
