Intellij IDEA Subversion

Hello,

I am using Intellij IDEA  and have two projects (with subversion). In one of them whenever I add a new file or modify one it automatically detects it and adds it to the active changelist (when adding a new file it asks me whether I want to add it to subversion), in the second project this doesn't happen (I have to click the refresh button - CTRL+F5 -  in order to see the changed files). I tried going to settings->version control but all checkboxes are the same so I am stuck.
Can anyone please tell me how to copy the behaviour of the first project into the second one ?
