Debugger->Autoscroll to new local variables

I have a longtime annoyance with this feature. I have it set, but the problem is that it never scrolls quite far enough.

I think that the problem I have is that there is a horizontal scroll bar, which doesn't get measured correctly. If there were no horizontal scroll bar, then the new local variable would be right where the scroll bar is, and so it would be visible. However, with the scroll bar, the new local variable is still not visible.

Is there something open that I couldn't find that I could add some votes to?
