Can't commit to svn
I just got an eval copy (ultimate) and set up an SVN location. I created a local project and imported into SVN (Groovy project)
I coul dnot see any commit menu item and the window/tool windows/changes menu item was grayed out.
I deleted the project complete and checked ou the project form SVN
I added serveral files to the project
The window/tool windows/changes menu item was still grayed out
I must be really missing something simple. But for the life of me can't figure it out.
Please help
Eric

You most probably need to set up VCS mapping at Settings | Version Control.
Also, please don't hesitate to ask for support at support@jetbrains.com. They're really helpful and fast to react.
Thanks - that did the trick. I'm a little confused about it but will contact support.

If you checkout a project from subversion it will set the appropriate version control mapping for you. However, if you do an in-place import into subversion you need to manually tell it you are using subversion.
You should find on checkouts though that it is set for you.
