SVN problems: unable to use in #3341

Hi all,

I'm having massive problems with my projects under SVN.

I'm unable to do any commit on my files, the servers always respond with

Error: server reports an error: 500 Internal Server Error
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>
<D:error xmlns:D="DAV:" xmlns:m="http://apache.org/dav/xmlns"
xmlns:C="svn:">
<C:error/>
<m:human-readable errcode="185004">
Unexpected end of svndiff input
</m:human-readable>
</D:error>

That works fine if I do it from the command line

It looks like to me that the plugin is messing up the metadata in the
local copy and is not able to synchronize anything with the repository.

If I add a file via IDEA, it works ok but I cannot checkin. If I'm doing
the checkin via command line, it works but IDEA is not refreshing the
status of the file internally, even after doing updates.

Even via command line, sometimes I find myself in a situation where the
cli detects a file that was added but need a commit while it has been
done before. The copy is then in stale state and I need to delete the
incrimined files and do an update.

Configuration:
- Windows XP SP2
- Irida #3341
- Sun JDK 1.5.0_03
- Subversion 1.2.0 on client (command line) (tried 1.1.3 and 1.1.4)
- Subversion 1.1.3 on the server

If someone has any idea what could be wrong, I welcome any suggestions.
This has been driving me crazy since a couple of builds.

I've found it helpful when setting up a subversion project to do the following.

- Create the project
- Checkout from subversion
- setup the project to use subversion in the project settings
- shutdown and restart intellij - this is the crucial bit!
- carry on using it as normal

This doesn't resolve all the issues but it got me around the problem where if I chose to commit the project I'd get some error about it not being able to build the commit tree. Ie I could 'add' files but not commit them.
