CVS deadlock

I am just working from a location that does not allow me
to access CVS. If by mistake I don't choose the option to
change the permission on the files, IntelliJ EAP ends up
trying to download the remote CVS file (without success of course) and then opens a modal window giving me tips. I click the cancel button but that has no effect. The modal window then locks me out of the ability to further use intellij. I have to force quit. Running on OSX.

PS. It would be nice to be able to have a bug report option right in the help menu

PPS. It would be nice to have socks proxy support to be able to access external cvs servers.

I reported a CVS deadlock issue a few weeks ago, but didn't get any feedback
from a Jetbrains developer.

Here a link to jira: http://www.jetbrains.net/jira/browse/IDEA-1076

With this bug, I can't even try the EAP-versions, because I have to use
readonly CVS with cvs edit. But that's not possible with the EAP-versions
because of the deadlock. Doing cvs edit by hand would be an alternative, but
not much comforable.

It seems, that JIRA-issues aren't looked at very often...

Greetings,

Marc

mhh I just found that there is socks proxy support for the current version of intellij. I just can't get it to work inside our network...
