3185: Refactor | Rename is broken...leaves you in endless loop...dont use.

Just trying to save you guys the frustration. Rename things by hand or you
may lose all your changes to unsaved files because you'll end up in an
endless loop when trying to use Refactor | Rename.

Lately, we seem to be regressing into GPF hell. Any little error is taking
the whole thing down. 10+ restarts today.

Hmmm...

I thought he meant that only those people who reported a bug that has
now been fixed should be given a link to the new build (up to the time
when a standard EAP build is released to everyone, of course).

Still, if there is a new build then it should just be downloadable by
those who care enough to download it at their own risk. The bugs are
marked as fixed in a specific build, nightly build will be marked with
that build number. Figure it out, it's not that hard. Asking them to
notify a list of people who have a bug fixed is like asking for JB to be
your maid service... if that's the case, then please, I'll have a side
of fries with my donuts.

Ha Ha.. Lotz of CTO's around this forum ;)

Before you guys pack your bags to India, the above metrics cannot be treated as a general yardstick for all companies. I was only highlighting the low end of the spectrum. For bigger companies (read MNC's, Infosys, Wipro, TCS etc.,) the same global guidelines apply!

That's OK, I will be a CIO in a small company. After a couple years, I
will move to a medium company and up the ladder!!!
