Robert, did it ever work for you?
I guess it may be related to your linux version, since this feaure is highly
dependent on precompiled native library.

I filed a bug a few builds ago that the "Dump threads" button wasn't
working under linux, but it was closed as "not repeatable". Problem is,
this button still doesn't work for me several weeks later - is anyone
else seeing this, or is it just me?

Yep, it did use to work under RH 9 - I upgraded to FC3 a few months ago,
but can't remember if it ever worked with this distro.

Is there any debug I can turn on to find out why it's failing?

No, I'm afraid this is indeed caused by incompatible linux version. A usual
problem with precompiled native code.

Will you be releasing a fix for FC3 or will I have to downgrade to RH9
to regain this functionality?

If there's a fix coming, should I enter another bug or will you re-open
the existing one?

I'm afraid we just cannot precompile this code for all platforms in the
world. Probably should we distribute these 3 lines of C code in source form
so that everyvody having
gcc can compile it himself?

I guess it's to avoid this situation that we use java in the first place... isn't there any way to get this functionality without native code?

Sure thing, but:
- how do I know which platforms are supported?
- RH latest versions are now Enterprise and FC3
- I would appreciate the chance to get this button working again!
