You are trying to make modifications to a readonly ("R/O") file. IDEA is suggesting how to make it writable; in your case "using file system" seems to be the only way. If you have version control configured, you will also get the option "usinc CVS" or the like.

Hello Jens,

Is it possible to set some kind of default behaviour ?
I only work using perforce and each time I have got that ("R/O") popup.

Best regards,

I use VSS and after selecting that I want to make it writable using version
control, the dialog doesn't go away? I have to press cancel on it. Which can
be quite annoying! :)
