This is happening for me since the first Irida build and it's sad that 3177 still has this bug.

No, I'm seeing that too. Seems to be 3177 is broken in a different way,
though. (But could also just happen to be the code I'm working on).
Changing the combination of brace-style for classes/methods/etc.
produces all sorts of, ehm, interesting layouts.

Bollocks. I'm not on 3177 yet, but this was the one I really hoped they'd fix.

I'm also seeing long lines not chopped down properly. I've got all the "Keep..." options turned off in the general tab, so IDEA should have a free hand to format how I tell it. It's currently botching it pretty badly, and even wierder, if I reformat multiple times I get different results.

For example:

Reformat again:

None of which are what I'd expect, given that I have all options at either "always wrap" (throws, extends, implements etc) or "chop down if long". It then at least keeps it the same after that.

Anyone else seeing this? I'll file a bug report shortly....

I hate this online forum software too, it won't let me reformat the above easily, and not being able to edit messages is a PITA...
