New EAP builds?
I know I shouldn't ask this b/c its redundant (guess its ready when its ready, right?)... but: Will there be a new EAP build anytime soon now? Seems we're running out of topics in the EAP forums.
Really appreciating JetBrains' EAP/"continuous deployment" for willing developers, but its really quite some time now since b#3144 (Fabrique now integrated?) and then quite a few of us want (need) to test with new builds.

Messi
P.S.: Please, don't flame me for this post, I'm just missing new EAPs to "devlop with pleasure" ;) so I said what bothered me... if you think this is redundant, ignore it.

And can we get some documentation on how to configure J2ME in the next release :)
We are working on it, sorry for the long delay.
The new build will include many bugfixes as well as the new installer.

Native windows installer. 18M loss on download size.

Nice ;)
Huh, that indeed sounds good... for Windows users with a modem line ;)
Just kidding, sure its a good feature for probably most of the users (according to most statistics Java developers are mainly working on Windows)... a bit disappointed that the "great feature" that is reason for the long delay doesn't affect me... working on Linux. Still looking forward for the bug-fixes.
BTW: I wonder, does JB have an IDEA (joke-applause! ;) how many users are working on which platform? Is JB at least willing to publish the no. of downloads (or EAP downloads) for the various platforms?
I'd be interested because I chose Linux to develop on not for "religious" reasons but it seems to have better "schedulers" (e.g. Full Virus scan, which is performed daily here :( can block Windows quite well for an hour ow two, seems it cannot distribute HDD-access bandwidth well between tasks or something like this). Sure, there are a few other technical reasons but overally I'd prefer Windows XP because its really easier to work with within a Win32 network.
Still, I guess Linux/Unix users are more common among Java developers than anywhere else (not counting religious followers :-).
Comments for this off-topic and too long post?

I think pretty much anything marginally related to IDEA/JetBrains is
fair-game in the jetbrains.intellij.community newsgroup. As for the
download/usage figures, if no one answers here (e.g. I wouldn't know
those numbers), then you might want to contact sales with an email; they
might be able to answer your question.

Does that mean not counting Mac users? :p

Dang man, where's that build? Can we get a Mac and Linux build? The
hell with windows people they can wait, they always get everything first
anyway :) Give them a zip which is what they're going to ask for
anyway.... hehehe... come on...
